Bought a new head unit?

I bought a accoustic solutions head unit from argos i am getting feed back from my 6x9 when i press on the gas

  • can any help me to stop the feed back that i am getting? i am using a jbl amp & sub. the amp is powering the 6x9 at the back & 10"sub .the head unit is powering the front speakers .the car fiat punto . much thanks

    your feedback is from the alternator.first what kind of wiring are you using?if its whatever you could find thats a start you need good wiring and if this dont work go to radio shack and they can give you something to help.also where do you have the hot wire run?it should be straight to the battery bypass everything else and you will probably fix it.

You might want to start with checking your spark plugs? Sometimes just changing to resistor plugs may do the trick? Good Luck!

trace ALL your wires you may have a bad wire grounding or shorting out some may not look like they are but you must have at least one

i had this problem, i was told to get a breaker(controls the power through), and put it to the wire connecting the battery to the amp , put it just b4 the battery under your bonnet

the radio i o.k just replace the punto with an audi or bmw this will cure it ;)

Check all your wiring. Bad/improper connections and the wrong type/gauge of wire could be the source of your problem.
