Would a DVD-R work in a portable DVD player?

Format to burn onto DVD r to watch on xbox 360 or noncomputer dvd player?

  • What format do I download to burn a video to a dvdr disc so that i can watch it on my xbox 360. if not the xbox then what about just a regular dvd player thats not in a computer.... i tied .avi but it doesn't work when i try to watch it.

alright bud this is what to do get NERO BURNING ROM installed (i recommend this) then get convert DIVX from there official site then convert your file to DIVX (that's XVID spelled backwards for your dvd player if it plays those files it will say on the front of your dvd player) or convertxtodvd if your xbox wouldn't play (XVID = DIVX) files im sure it will as xvid is the most comon pirating format for dvds and well recommended by the long john silvers of the industry
