Any alarm clocks for PC?

Alternate alarm clocks?

  • I'm having to wear earplugs to actually get some sleep while my husband snores away next to me. However, I need an alarm clock that will actually wake me up through my earplugs. I did see on a movie once an alarm clock that woke the person up by flashing a light on and off. I'm interested in these kinds of clocks and any other out of the ordinary alarm clocks that anyone can suggest. Serious anwers only please. Thanks in advance!

    The most unusual one lve heard of, had sensors which you connected to your head, the cool bit was it could tell how deep in sleep you were by your brain waves or REM, l forget how exactly but in sleep you go in an out of REM/Deep sleep an if your alarm wakes you up while you are in that state, you wake up feeling groggy an well, like ****, but the difference might be ten minutes as in 06-00am deep sleep 06-10 light sleep

I use multiple alarm clocks cause i sleep like the dead. However the good old wind up alarm clock with the bells is a good item. You could probably hear them through your earplugs if it is close enough. Plus your hubby will wake you up every time it goes off. As far as the flickering light action, it can be done with some electrical contacts but there is alot of circuitry involved. Let me think about that one.
