Should I stay working at walmart or take frys electronics?
-
I currently work at walmart doing cartpushing in CA.This is my first job and only have been working here for about a month. I put in an app for Fry's Electronics just for the heck of it and today got a call for an interview. If the interview goes well and they want me to work there what should I do? Stay at regular part time walmart or take seasonal part time frys? what would you do? I know at least with walmart it takes me about 2 minutes to get there and Frys takes me about 15 minutes. and with walmart i know im staying after the holidays and frys i have to risk it. but better pay for frys so idk.

Answer:
I would stay at Walmart. Fry's is probably just hiring for the holidays. Extra pay not worth the time you'd be off work looking for another job. Don't hop around from one job to another. Only way to get ahead is to stick with a place, work hard and work your way into better paying jobs in the company. Or go to night school working on a degree so that you can get a decent, well-paying job to begin with which would give you a nicer style of living.

fry's electronics would be a better bet, you can learn a lot about computers, games, TV's, great brands, etc is great! I'd say go to that interview and let them know you are motivated to learn, and even ask what positions they have, so you know what options you got. They pay pretty well, I'd say go for it :) Walmart Sucks....i work there now :x and it has messed up my back so much. And im not learning a damn thing...making me stupid.
walmart sucks to work at. its mini wage. I would do frys electronics, it will look better on your resume than walmart

Well times are tough so any job with better pay is worth a few extra minute commute and I have worked at a frys myself and they're pretty good so from experience I would say frys. Parcel work sucks at walmart but of you get part time from both I'd go for it.
I used to work at walmart cartpushing too. It depends... cartpushing aint so bad except i had some CSMs harass me over cart bays not being full when im out there by myself trying to fill one side up. i would work at frys for a bit and see how it is first before i leave walmart. that way you at least have a job.
