Can I use my camcorder as a webcam?

I have an Aiptek A-HD 720P High Definition Camcorder. Can you help me find a way to use it as a webcam?

Can you help me find a way to use it as a webcam? ...and as much as I hate to say it, I really don't have any money to spend on any programs that "trick" the computer into thinking it's a webcam, so is there another/different way to do it? Or is there one of those programs that's completely free (full version)? My user manual doesn't say anything about using it as a webcam, but there's got to be a way. Please help me, I really appreciate it. Thank you!

    If the camcorder has a video output jack (usually known as an RCA jack) perhaps with a yellow insert, you should be able to connect it to your computer's video input. Some camcorders, like my JVC, have a "1394" cable connector, which allows you to connect it to your computer. Hope this helps.
