I have 2 unpowered PA speakers and a power amp, How do i hook up monitors to use on stage?

Answer:
The normal way a monitor system is connected is using the "AUX 1" output of the main mixing board. That way, the monitors can receive their own mix from the mixing board and that mix is uneffected by the mix for the audience (main mix). Wires is right - connect the AUX 1 output of the mixer to the input of the amp and the output of the amp will feed the speakers. You will then need to turn up the AUX 1 volume control for every channel you want to hear on stage and also the AUX 1 master knob.
