Which is better a DVD +RW or a DVD -RW?

How do i burn movies onto a dvd rw disc which can be played on my dvd player or xbox 360?

• I have burned a movie already but it will not play even though my dvd player does play dvd rw, what am i doing wrong folks?

  if its avi you need divx decoder on the dvd player ,get nero or if you have it you can convert avi to play on dvd players its can take couple of hours. a cue file copies to cd's right click and open with nero and it burns to cd in good speeds oh other thing unsure what format xbox takes but make sure if its a + or - disc you have thats its able to be played in the dvd player. some accept one and some accept both the minus and + your disc will look like this dvd-rw or dvd+rw if the discs you have don't play you need to get the right one.
