Burn DVD over network?
-
Is it possible to Burn a DVD or CD over a network connection. Ok, so I have a computer (PC1) with a DVD Burner, and a pc with no dvd drive (PC2). Would it be possible to burn a file on PC2 to the drive on PC1, without sharing the file on PC2. Basically, my brother is hogging the computer because it can play games, and I need to burn a disk, but he has the only DVD burner in the house...

Answer:
Not directly. The image of the CD/DVD would have to be transferred to the other PC, and the burning app ran. IMHO, if you are regularly wanting to burn CDs/DVDs, get your own burner, they are reasonably priced these days.
