How do I get fuzzy analog channels to come in clear?
-
My HDTV has a built in tunner. It found clear digital channels and fuzzy analog channels. Is there a box or something that I can use to get the fuzzy channels to come in clear? I heard a descrambler might work? How can I get these channels to come clear?
-
Answer:
No. That is the nature of analog channels when viewed on an HD display. Analog looks worse precisely because your new HD display is so accurate; highlighting & accentuating the flaws of the inferior signal. Add that to the fact that most people move up in screen size when going from SD to HD. Any given signal will always appear sharper on a smaller screen. Garbage In = Garbage Out.
