DVD player: says disc error with every DVD I put in it. Help!?

• My dd player 1 day out of the blue started saying -- disc error-- Pleas eject the disc Playback feature may not be available on this disc Please help I can't afford a new DVD player. So pleas just give me every opstion there is to helping me fix it. Please and thank you. No stupid answers please! <3

  The possibility that this is something you can fix is slim. One of the things you could try is a DVD lens cleaning disk. This will only work if the lens that is used to read DVD's is dirty. The mechanism to move the lens and the motor that rotates the disk are also possible problem areas that could cause the disk error message. Neither is something you could fix.
