How to get flash player on ps3?

Get a Blu-ray player or PS3 ?

  • I have been doing some researches but i'm still stuck about whether getting a blu-ray player or a ps3 ? 1. PS3 and blu-ray, both can play movies, music, and pictures from USB, stream videos through Wifi and able to output 1080p quality. 2. The process of upgrading PS3 is much easier than the player, but it doesn’t seem important to me since i'm a tech person. Addition, i don't think there's a lot of updating for me to do, probably less than 3 times a year. 3. PS3 seems to have a lot of things to mess with such as jailbreak (Geohot case). 4. Gaming on PS3 is not really fascinating for me since I never play game on PS3. Which one should i get ? and which player would be good ? Thanks

    Ps3 will retain better value, and if you are ever interested in gaming it is a powerful system with a large selection of great titles and free multiplayer, much better than most of the 360 games out there. A blu ray player is boring, and if you want, the ps3 can be loaded with Linux and function as a powerful gaming computer or programming tool

PS3 in my opinion. It has more functions and you can resell it for more than a blu-ray player. I always think of what will sell for more before I make a purchase

Mate, you seam a nice guy so I'm going to be honest. Get a PS3, you can watch good bluray, but thats nothing, you can watch tv on it. browse the internet and even watch videos on the browser it has good. also ps3 is best console, you can get all your movies of pc some how and usb drives and discs, copy them on to the ps3's hard drive so it is easy to watch when ever you are a good at tech then ps3 is a good friend, i like ps3's because they dont have slow menus or loading times, say if you went to your video section it will prompt, also it turns on very fast wireless controllers, you can even if you have usb mouse and keyboard you can easily use it with the ps3 with no extra content download or drivers.

Since you listed the jailbreak part i assume that you also understand that the ps3 will double as an actual desktop computer by dual booting linux, so you'll have all of what you need and a bit more. and judging by what you already know a blu-ray player can do all what you need but lacks the flexibility. A Ps3 would be better in all aspects since it has all the features plus the possibility of doing more along the line.

I would say the blu-ray player. They are much more cost effectiv if your going to be primarily using it for movie viewing.. If you are serious about gaming, get a xbox 360 too so you have other people to play with.
