Should I buy a psp go or psp 3000?

  • The things I like about the psp go is that it's smaller and the things I like about the psp 3000 is that it has a UMD drive while the psp go doesn't.

    The most obvious choice ever would be a PSP 3000. The go? c'mon, it looks ugly, like something for 4 year olds to play with. I see NOBODY buying the PSP go's, at my mall, every electronic store including FYE still has all of them on the shelves. They were sitting on the shelves for 3 months! Only 1 was bought. Sony even admits that the PSP go's sales are extremely poor. It would be just as useless as the Sony dash which is also selling very poor. I feel sorry for sony. That wasn't a lie, literally, only 1 was bought in the entire mall.

psp 3000 i think so

Let's see... The PSP Go: * Costs more * Has no UMD drive * Can't play games on UMD (can't transfer them!) In addition, the online game library is much smaller than the library of games that are on UMD. Even newer games may not be available for download because Sony didn't make this a requirement! Oh, and games in PSN store cost more than the same game, on UMD, in the store. FInally, the PSP3000 can do everything (EVERYTHING!) the PSP-Go can do. So...why would anyone EVER bother with a PSP-Go?

My advice go for the psp 3000 because almost all psps use UMDs nowadays, but if you fear your umds breaking go for the psp go. I haven't used the psp go yet so i can't tell whether it's good, but since I'm using a psp-3004, you can always go for it. HTH
