How do you transfer video from a VHS to a DVD?

Is there a way to transfer vhs copy protected video's to dvd disc?

  • I have a lot of VHS cassette movies that I own... I would like to copy them to dvd video so I can free up some space... I've tried but I'm always told can't copy because tape is copy right protected... I know VHS is gone... is there any way possible to copy my VHS tapes to DVD?
