HD PVR PROBLEM PLEASE HELP!?
-
I've had an HD PVR for about 1-2 months and all of a sudden the USB device is not recognised, i contacted Hauppauge About this and they sent me a new USB cable, i tried the new USB cable but the same error message showed up (USB device not recognised) does anyone know how to fix this without needing to send my unit off?

Hi it sounds like it has developed a fault and needs to be taken back to where you bought it from.as it is faulty.

Try the device in other USB ports, or another computer, or other devices in that port, to rule out one or the other. You could see if the solder connections at each jack (computer and HD-PVR) are secure. They may need re-soldering, and that likely will void the warranty on each device.
