Where can I buy rgb LEDs for cheap?

Where to buy bright LEDs?

• I need a few (like 3-5) LEDs for a project I'm working on, but they need to be bright. I went to Radio Shack and got some red and green ones (the color doesn't really matter as I can work around whatever i find) but they were really dim. I had this pen that lit up blue every fourth time you clicked it and I took it apart to check out the LED inside. The LED was clear (lit up blue) and pretty small, but crazy bright. I can't find anything like that at Radio Shack, and I don't know where else to look (there's no other local electronics stores). Where can I buy a few super bright LEDs? Also, they need to be between 1/16 and 1/8 inch if possible, if that matters.
