How do you burn multiple files onto the same cd and make it so it plays onto my DVD player?

to fit 6 movies to one disk they must be in .avi format, also divx files.. i use nero and burn a data dvd and drag and drop the movies i wan and click burn, or the divx bundle is free download and burns just the same, a bit easier really, but if you dvd player dont play divx format(avi) its a waste.. burn one disk with movies and test in your player, if it works happy day, if not check it in your computer, if it works the format just wont read by the dvd player
