How do you use the Monster iSoniTalk cable with Beats Studio by Dr Dre Headphones?

Hi, I have Beats by Dr Dre Studio and they came with two wires one red for general and another called iSonitalk cable I have heard that you can use the i sonitalk cable as a mic and to control songs on ipod or your phone Could somebody please explain how i use it? ThankYou

1 Connect your Beats by Dr. Dre with a Bluetooth adapter via 3.5-inch headphone jack. 2 Turn on your Bluetooth adapter. 3 Go to the Settings menu of your computer or Bluetooth media device, and turn on Bluetooth. 4 Set the Bluetooth on your computer or device to "Discoverable." 5 Select the adapter from the menu of visible Bluetooth devices, once the Bluetooth headphone adapter is discovered.
