How do I hook up my VCR if i have Dish Network?

How do I hook up Dish network to my tv, dvd and vcr?

• I just moved into an apartment and Dish network is included in the rent. My landlord has it all hooked up in his part of the building and I have just a cable to hook it up in mine. I have an older Sharp tv as well as Sony dvd and Sharp vcr players. How do I hook these up so that they ALL work. Right now I have the tv, vcr and dvd working but not the Dish.

  Hi Arrow, the answer will depend on the type of service your landlord has but I would try to connect the coax cable to the TV directly and then try to get your picture on Channel 60 or 73. If those channels do not work, try 116 0r 117. One of these channels will provide the picture to your TV. They other method would require a satellite box at your location but I would need to verify what equipment is on your landlords account to be able to answer your question definitely.
