What is a good digital cable descrambler?

Cable descrambler and converter?

  • I have been reading online that it's possible to get all channels from cable using a cable box.How does that work?I have regular cable and i read that you can use the cable digital box to recevie all channel's.It said something about decrambler and converter.I would like to know if anyone know how to do it and what kind of cable box will i need. And please only leave comment's with advice on how to do this and not anything like that's is illegal becuase i read that it's pretty legal to do this so fu*k off hatterz

    It realy depends on your cable system. There are meny different cable boxes (systems) in use in this country. What brand and model of box to they use? Can you buy the same box elsewhere? Can someone turn on all of the channels for you? Can you make it so they can not detect it? BTW, you are only renting the cable box and the programming. They still belong to the cable company, so it is illegal to steal programming. I thought you should know that you received bad advice.

I know this isn't the answer you're looking for, but I just bought a new Samsung DLP LED TV. It has a built in cable tuner with QAM. QAM is able to read digital signals from standard cable which is what I have. Thus by upgrading my TV, I've added about 50 additional digital (HD) channels to my cable without upgrading. None of these 50 channels though are the good ones like ESPN, FOX Sports...rather, they're my local channels and other analog cable channels that have a sister digital channel.
