Recorded tv shows on dvd won't play on computer?
-
I recorded tv shows on a dvd recorder and they play fine on my tv. But when I put the dvd in my computer i get an error message that says "Windows cannot read from this disk. The disk might be corrupted, or it could be using a format that is not compatible with Windows." Well I know the disk works fine on my tv dvd player. Why can't I see the dvd clips on my computer? I'm using Windows XP

Answer:
I suspect the disc has not been 'finalised'. This will upset Windows. Finalise it in the recorder.
