Answer:
you cant find a gps tracker using a gps locator unless you do some major tuning but what i would suggest is using a frequency locator which just detects if there are any radio waves being emmitted from a particular source that is not natural. and since all forms of wireless communication use some form of radio waves it can detect almost all types of frequencies except of course higher end models which could be set to a specific code and could send near random signals that appear natural but of course this probably isnt your case and i would highly doubt anyone aside from the government or someone with great technological knowledge has one. a simple form of these locators is when a cell phone goes too close to a cheap radio and the radio starts making noise. or you could make one yourself u can find the directions online and it would be pretty simple and inexpensive

No, you can not use a regular GPSr to follow a GPS tracking device. In this case the term GPS means the tracking device has a built in GPS receiver that it uses to determine where it is, then it sends out over the wireless connection what those co-ordinates are and you get the information off the internet. The only exception I am aware of is the Garmin Chirp and it has a very limited range and is not designed to be a tracking device.

you just got your terms mixed up, but what you are asking can be done. you will need find more information on this topic in a place where ppl can help you. look up newelectronx and read their knowledge base section on their web site. i remember seeing something like that there. or just use any search engine. what you are asking is possible and real, but you are just a little confused with terms and such. good luck
You are confused. A GPS system finds its location using satellites. GPS tracking devices send their location to a server using either Wifi (rare) or usually G3 (mobile). You can find their location by login into a server. You usually have to pay a monthly fee.
