How do I connect my dvd player to my big screen tv?

How do I connect my DVD player to my big screen TV? I've tried every connection possibility. Thanks so much.

  • The DVD player is a Daewoo and the TV is a Mitsubishi 62".

  • Answer:

On the back of your DVD you should have output jacks....yellow, red and white. connect these to the back of your TV where you see something marked "INPUT". Make sure you connect it to the input that only has 3 (yellow, red, white) Then you will use your TV remote and look for a button marked "input" , "source" or something similar. Press that button until you see the DVD playing on your TV. (of course make sure you have a DVD playing in the playerO)

Go to Best Buy and ask

Your cable technician will do it for about $25.

you should have enough jacks on the tv for a lot of devices. look for anything labeled something like 'video 1', 'video 2', etc. these are for dvd's, vhs video players/recorders, and others. if you can use an s-video cable on each (look for a round jack labeled s-video' on the dvd player and tv), you might try that. if that doesn't help, rtfm (read the f**king manual).
