How to hook up sound bar To TV?
-
My dad just bought a TV and can't get the sound bar to work. He first hooked up the sound bar to TV, but it didn't work, a loud buzzing sound. Then he hooked it up to cable box, works great. However, when he switches the source over to HDMI, so he can play the blue ray player, the sound doesn't carry over to HDMI, and still playing the sound on the TV?

Answer:
Russ - If the TV has RCA red/white audio outputs just connect those to the sound bar red/white RCA inputs. Many TV's now only have digital output. If so, connect that to the sound bar digital audio input. The connector is usually a brown RCA. If the sound bar only has red/white inputs, you will need to get a converter: http://www.amazon.com/FiiO-D3-Digital-Converter-Optical/dp/B005K2TXMO/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1330097104&sr=1-1
