Where is Navigon GPS system originally from?

Does anyone have the NAVIGON gps system? what do you like about it?

• i saw on their website that the true view traffic is only available for a few select cities. what about the other areas? and is there something you have to constantly download from online for this brand... tell me about this brand if you have it please

  I don't have it and I can't really tell you much about it either sorry. But what I will say is that there are many GPS units out there so you will end up with a good one I'm sure. The only product you should be updating "over time" is the mapping database. And I usually recommend people just update it every couple of years. Remember the map books we all used? We tended to hang on to them for a few years then updated when all the streets started disappearing or fading from the book :)) Hope you find what you want.
