Do i need a converter or just an adapter? I am from the states traveling in Europe?

My battery charger says Input: AC100-240V ~ 50-60Hz 14W. It also says on the info sheet use with correct voltage AC100-240V. My converter says power units other than class 2. It also says, converts 220/240VAC to 110/120VAC. Max capacity 1600watts. Do I need to use the converter? or can I just use the adapter I have?

Answer:
Sounds like you havea goodcharger which will do the conversion for you. If you do choose to convert the charge to 240 volts though (as a safety measure) you will do no harm to the charger (or the laptop)
