How do I embed .srt subtitles on a video if I have a Mac?

How can i burn into DVD an avi video format with its .srt files as subtitles?

  • i downloaded a korean video and it comes with the sub folder. in the folder theres .srt file. i can watch the movie with its subtitles in winplayer or in vlc player. im also planning to burn it in DVD so i can watch in in my DVD player but i dont know how to include the subtitles with it.. i learned how to convert .sub to .srt because it says so in this website,http://www.weethet.nl/english/video_ripsubtitles_vobsub.php#setup but i dont know how can i burn it to DVD with the subtitles... i checked my nero buring rom 7 if it has feature that includes the including of subtitles in DVD but i cant find it.. plzzzz help... thnks

    yes nero can not do it. i burn videos to dvd with ConvertXtoDVD, a great software.. It DOES have the add subtitle feature, which is not in any other converter i guess.. i tried many. convertxtodvd is the best you can download it here: http://www.burner-software.com/AVI-to-DVD-Converter/Convert-AVI-Divx-MPEG-to-DVD.html

What I do i just burn the avi files along with the srt files but be sure that the file names of these files are exactly the same. then mu dvd player which support avi playback displays the subs
