How do I put a youtube video onto a DVD-R disk?

Can you put a video from YouTube onto a DVD and watch it on tv?

  • How/can you transfer a video from YouTube onto a DVD or computer disk and watch it on the tv or computer?

  • Answer:

Yes. First you need a program like VideoGet. It allows you to download YouTube files to your PC (& convert them to most any format you like). VideoGet: http://nuclear-coffee.com/ Once you have the file saved as an "avi" or "mpeg" you can use any DVD burning program like Nero or Cyberlink or Roxio to put on on a DVD that can be viewed on any player. regards, Philip T

First you need a program to download the youtube video, then another to format the video, and then another program to burn the video onto an empty dvd. i use isquint and itunes for my mac, but i wouldn't know for a pc.

download a YOUTUBE DOWNLOADER/CONVERTER dual program try topdownloads.net it is free and easy. the program extracts the file from youtube. then you can select whatever format you need to convert it to. very simple. and really fast. if you really just want to watch it on your tv...they make pc to tv converters, for non hd viewers... but if you have a market tv like a lcd, plasma or dlp, most now come equipped with a (variety of) pc port depending on the manufacturer and market age. I can watch tv while I surf the web (pip) on my sony bravia lcd,

Yes you can....but... You first have to dig the FLV file that youtube cashes in your "temporary internet files" folder. Then you'll need an encoder program to convert it to a dvd file...like xilisoft converter ultimate. Burned a few DVDs myself from youtube with some of the foreign shows my wife likes. hope this helps ya Wildman

you can get a program called youtube grabber and convert it into an avi, then burn it using dvdsanta. Or if you have a wii, you can get the internet channel for 200 or 500 points and go to youtube.com and watch them on you're tv without converting anything.

Yes, you can. YouTube makes this very hard, though, and generally you need to use a browser other then Internet Explorer to extract the video file. There's articles on Wikipedia about this, too.

You might be able to do it TiVo, series 3, or HD. It's a new feature of TiVo to bring youtube videos onto the TiVo. Then you would use TiVo2go to transfers it on you home network to your PC and then you could transfer it to DVD.

You can screen capture it using a program like Camtasia but it's not worth it, quality sucks.

Only unless you download it from Youtube and sent it to one of your files then burn it to a CD.
