Does someone know how to download movies from the Comcast DVR to my computer?

Can someone tell me how & where to download high quality HD movies (1080p) that I can watch on my HDTV?

Hello, Can anyone out there let me know of a way download and save high-quality HD content (movies and TV shows) and then let me know how I can watch them on an HDTV? I've heard of people saving hundreds & sometimes thousands of movies to an external hard drive. I know you can watch those back on a computer on Windows Media Player or on Quicktime, but is there a way to watch them on a large screen HDTV - taking advantage of high definition? If you do answer, please explain in simple steps...lol.. I'm not a computer expert. Thanks very much for any help.

You need to buy them, from sources such as iTunes or Amazon. Or record them from broadcast or pay TV. Torrents and such are mostly piracy for that sort of thing.
