What's a good book on electronics?

Learning Electronics. Whats the easiest way?

  • I want to get into Electronics. I want to learn how to create basic wireless devices (such as infared devices). Can anyone give me a book to buy or a internet site to visit? I have just started attempting to learn electronics. So far i have learnt about complete circuits, what negative and positive are and things like that. Can someone please help me with this question of "Where to goto learn". - Cheers, Daniel

  • Answer:

first you need to understand electron theory then start with simple circuits and work your way up, "hands on" projects are a great learning tool, you need to also learn the math unless your already a math wiz , electronics is ALL MATH! it sounds like you want to start at the top, without learning the basics first you will have a hard time understanding whats really going on, there are many different books to help in doing this. pretty much any book on electrical fundamentals will help, look at a few of these books to determine which one youll be able to understand the best. good luck! hop
