Do I need a converter for this headset?

Headset 3.5 to 3.5 mm jacks?

okay so basicly i got a head set i ordered from buy. com and i was wondering where can i buy a converter for this pc head set into an xbox360 headset i need one with two female 3.5mm holes that goes into one male i went to radio shack and bestbuy but bestbuy ddidnt have one the one i got at radioshack i tried sometimes i didnt get audio and i had to talk with the mic practicly in my mouth even then my friends said they could hardly hear me i had trittons before but it didnt work i was going to get the turtlebeach x1s but they are being replaced with the turtlebeach x11's no bestbuy has them and the other turtle beaches i heard were terable so dont suggest those i just need to know where to get the 3.5 to 2.5mm jacks
