sony mini dvd. i just did alot of research and purchased one. we took it on a cross country trip. it really zooms. super easy to use

I don't know what the exchange rate is right now, but Canon ZR series is about three hundred US, and are a great camera. They are especially good if you ever want to edit your footage.(DVD cams are nice but a little funky to import into a computer.) Hope that helps, Tony
