Does anyone know if this remote is universal?

Anyone know of a universal remote which will operate a Terapin TT-2600 DVD player?

• We have miss placed the remote which came with the Terapin TT-2600 DVD player. Unfortunately, you can not operate the dvd player without a remote so I am in desperate need of a replacement. I have tried to locate a manufactures website but they appear to have closed shop. It also appears that an original replacement is no longer available. So, I am stuck trying to find a universal remote which has codes for this dvd player. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Have you tried searching on the FCC ID? Quite often, companies will not make their own products and merely rebadge others - this may turn up a brand that the universal remotes do cover. We've had two brands of universal remote in the past (One for All and Magician), and they have both featured a "search" feature, which can find the likely code set for devices they do not officially support (basically, it sends each power code in turn, then you press a key on the remote when the device is activated). Sometimes, a refund is offered if the remote will not control your device.
