How do you put music into your psp?

  • Ok i have a psp and the usb cable. I connected the psp to the computer but i dont know how to put anything in the psp yet. How can u put pictures and music into your psp? Help please!

    here are the steps you'll need to go through to get your music to download successful from your Windows PC to your new Sony PSP unit: 1. Connect the PSP to your PC with any USB cable. 2. Use the D-pad to select "USB CONNECTION" on the PSP. 3. Press the X button 4. Your computer should now show you a generic drive, usually E: 5. Click on the drive letter that corresponds to the PSP unit. 6. Now create a new folder on that drive and name it "psp". 7. Within the new "psp" folder create another folder, and name it "music". 8. Copy your mp3's into the "music" folder. 9. When you're done copying your desired music tracks, press the Circle button on the PSP to get out of USB transfer mode. After you do all of that you will not have any coruption or anything else.

ok i just got a psp for Christmas so ill help you. first if you have a memory stick you can hold more stuff. to put music on it you must make a new folder called PSP. inside that folder put another folder labeled music. pics are done the same way just label it pictures. if you already have music downloaded to your computer, just move the ones you want to the music folder. if you dont have any downloaded , then download it and move them. on the pics, right click on the pic you want and click move.

You have to have a usb connecter to connect the psp to your computer. They sell these programs at my work, gamestop, where it is like a media manager. You get a disc and the usb cord so that it is easier to upload the music to your psp. Hope that helps!
