What brand is better for a GPS...TOMTOM or Magellin?
-
I'm attempting to buy a GPS for my fiance to use on trips but Im not sure what brand is going to be better for his first one
-
Answer:
I have found that the user interface for the Magellan models are clunky and not easy to use. I have also found that Magellan has very bad customer support. My experience with their customer support was with their professional line of GPS receivers and it was literally terrible. It makes me wonder what their consumer level of support is. I know it isn't in your list of brands but have you ever considered the Garmin models? Their Nuvi line of GPS navigators are really great.
