• A few weeks ago my friends and I were out eating in the middle of the patio of our dorm building and I wanted to bring my tunes out. So I went upstairs and got my iPod and 2.1 sound system, but found that there weren't any outdoor outlets to plug my speakers into. We wound up barely able to hear my iPod on some crappy radio speakers I have. You had to be about 2 feet away from the speakers to hear it, even on maximum volume on my iPod. I want some speakers that don't have to be plugged into a power outlet, but still give loud sound without sacrificing quality. Basically kinda like notebook speakers, so I can move my iPod anywhere I need to. Any recommendations?
