Can you still make money on real estate?

HOW MUCH MONEY DO REAL ESTATE PEOPLE MAKE IN CALIFORNIA OR OTHER STATES?

• I want to become one of those real estate agents people.And which classes do i need to take in order to get my license and stuff?How much money do they make in California or in any state?Whats the difference between a broker and an agent?And btw i live in orange county in California near Huntington Beach and Newport Beach so do i make alot of money in those areas?Do alot of real estate agents have nice houses?Do i need a GED or high school diploma to become one of those agent peolpe?THX U SO MUCH FOR YOUR TIME FOR READING THIS I NEED ALOT OF HELP.AND HOW MUCH MONEY DO THEY MAKE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION.

  How much depends on many factors: 1) How the market is going - I don't think the American housing market is all that good at the moment 2) How good they are at "closing a deal" 3) How much they can live without a family/friends - being a real estate agent (one that is paid well) is a 24 hour a day 7 day a week job - you work nights and weekends and are always on the phone. 4) How good the agency you work for is.
