What is Macomb, IL like?

Has anyone rented in Macomb, IL from Myers Rentals and received their security deposit back?

  • I am trying to compile information from tenants that are either satisfied or dissatisfied with their landlords in the Macomb, IL area, I would love anyone who has rented from a landlord in the Macomb, Il area to give feedback in their response! Thank you!

  • Answer:

I truly doubt anyone of such a small group of people is going to see this question and respond to it. If you did not receive a refund of your security deposit, your landlord should have given you an itemized list of repairs necessary upon your vacancy of the property you rented. If they didn't you have the option to sue the landlord to demand payment in small claims court and win easily. Some unscrupulous landlords play the odds with tenants that they won't sue if they don't return the security deposit, and sadly this wager usually pays off. In some jurisdictions you can sue for 2-3 times the security deposit and win if you can prove the landlord acted in bad faith. Good Luck

Yes, One of your members did in fact receive their full deposit back after they moved out. They even had a dozen or more pets and I only made them pay 100.00 pet deposit for all of them. There are some that have received all but 100.00 all there are some that you just have to take to court to collect. MYERS RENTALS
