How much acreage is in a lot?

How do you determine the sq. ft. on a lot?

  • if a lot measures 346x105x64x127, what is it equal to in acreage

  • Answer:

The way I do it is to average the two opposite sides (364 + 64= 429 /2=214.5 and then 105 + 127= 232/2=116) then I multiply those results by each other (214.5 X 116 = 24882). Whatever your result would be, there are 43560 square feet in an acre. So if I guessed right at which sides were opposite to each other then your lot would be (24882/43560=.5712121 acres. A little less than 6/10 of an acre.
