What is Irvine california like to live in,it was voted best place to live along with newport beach can you?

  Irvine is an expensive place to live but Newport and Laguna Beach are even more expensive. All are nice but Irvine can be congested with traffic and public transportation throughout Orange Counter is bad. The weather is some of the best in the world. The homes in Irvine are normal sized but they don't have much yard generally speaking. A single family home rented here can run you between $2500 to $2500 per month. This is more than a lot of people make per month. The schools are considered as good as schools get, though not sure I agree. Personally if I were going to move back to the area, I would look into moving to a smaller city just South of Irvine and close to the beach like San Juan Capistrano, San Clemente or Dana Point. They're still expensive but not quite as bad and they're a little more laid back. If you like nightlife and a more urban area Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach are great.
