How to find a good real estate broker to work for?

I'm applying for the CA Real Estate license now, but don't know which broker I'm going to work for yet?

  • On the application, it asked me to check one of the boxes for initial working status - "I will be working in real estate"? or "I will not be working in real estate"? But if I check "I will be working", it needs me to fill out the broker info right away... Any idea?

  • Answer:

You need to pick a broker or you will not be working in real estate. The license is issued to the broker, NOT YOU. The broker actually holds the license in their office. Interview brokers and then apply for the license.

Other answers

Since you have no broker you "will not be working". You need a broker for an active license.
