Where can I get a power of attorney paper online for free?

Can some granted power of attorney change a quick clam deed?

  • My sister and I have equal ownership by quick clam dead to our parents property. Originally they wanted to put everything in my name but I said no, she should get half. She was never close to our parents. Father just passed away, so my sister had my mother with Alzheimer's sign a paper given my sister power of attorney which I think is illegal.. So she and her husband live at the house now taking care of my mother, So I left after living there for three years. My sister and brother in law are benefiting from her $1200. a mouth S.S. check, my Fathers savings of around $50,000. his car, etc. Not fair but it's OK if they take good care of my Mother. My question, can my big sister with her power of attorney change the quick clam deed to where her and her husband get the house 100 percent and I get nothing?

  • Answer:

You are going to need a lawyer. Thing is, if your mother has dementia or alzheimers, she isn't in her right mind to be signing ownership or any other legal documents right now!
