Property can be registered on the basis of power of attorny?

  • i am buying one house but registry on the name of sellers son. they given power of attorny to him father is it legal to sell property by father on the basis of POA? he can registered his property on my name with out consulting his sons>

    If the sons have signed the Sole Agency / Joint Agency Terms of Engagement so that the house may be advertised for sale, then they have consented to this. It would be illegal for anyone to market a property without this prior documentation. If the sons have legitimately given power of attorney to their father, then he has every right to sell the property on their behalf, along with written consent. But he must consult his sons. :)
