Is there any programs to help me move out and pay rent?

  • I was abused since I was little but I still live with my mom. I cant take it anymore. I'm 19 and I just got a job. I need to move out. Is there any programs to help me out? We are low income and receive food stamps. I live in Tucson Arizona. I cant take this anymore.Please help

    The salvation army and the united way will have the phone numbers to government offices that can help you. In the meantime, they could possibly provide you with shelter and food.

If you are a member of a church or any other organization, contact other members to see if they are willing to let you crash in a spare bedroom. Offer to pay them back or to offer services in exchange for rent. Services meaning cleaning, yardwork, dog walking, pet sitting, babysitting, etc.
