How much does a studio apartment cost near hofstra university on long island?

I am looking for studio apartments near hofstra university in hempstead. I go there and i was looking for a cheaper one because i am a college student looking to move in with one other person. Can anyone help out? Links would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Probable about $900 a month, depends on the studio. Taxes are very high in Nassau County. The rent is going to include the high property taxes. That area has a lot of houses and Co-ops apartments, which usually are not allowed to be rented. Choice is limited. It's hard to give a rate on renting a studio.
