Regarding the California Real Estate License Application RE202, What do I check for Working Status Question?
-
I want to receive the salesperson license first and then choose a broker to work for, so under question #10 on the RE202 application form for a salesperson license, should I check "At time of issuance, I will be working in real estate for which a CA license is required" OR "At time of issuance, I will not be working in real estate for which a CA license is required" ?? Does the line "At time of issuance, I will not be working..." meaning only the time when the license is being processed only? or does it mean that I will not be working in real estate at all even when I do get the original license? Any broker or salesperson out there, please help, Thank you so much.

Answer:
It's asking if you want an active or inactive license.
