Question about real estate broker?

  • Hello, I'm thinking to go into real estate broker and i would like to know if you as real estate broker can buy houses or rental departments from your own portfolio? because in good times you can sell houses and bad times you can scope properties and buy them.Can i do that as real estate broker? It's a good choice going into real estate broker licence? thank you

    other than knowledge that a broker is required to have that "others" are not required to have, there is no advantage in having a license IF your main desire does not include being a fiduciary-- [representing others], Also, maybe you mean real estate sales agent and not broker [you have to be a sales agent --or its equivalence] before you can be a broker--2 yrs exp needed] can guide if desire. Also, watch your sentence structure; one does not go into real estate broker .....you do go into business...or to school. forming correct sentences now will help you advance.

Yes, you can buy, sell and rent under your license ...... some financing companies will not allow you to make a commision on our own transaction. And keep in mind that if buying for investment, loans are very hard to get when the market is down. If it is an owner occupied property financing is not that hard to come by.
