Think about what your interests are. What do you enjoy doing or talking about? Then look for jobs where you can apply that. If you love videogames, go to a store that rents or sells games. See if there are any companies in the area that design videogames. Even if your specific job duty isn't related to that, it still gets you close to the action - better to sweep the floors at a place you love than climb the ranks at a place you hate. Beware of scams that promise easy money - they love to target naive and inexperienced college teens. Don't waste your time with online surveys, selling magazines door to door, selling sperm/eggs, "modeling" (ie, porn), stuffing envelopes. I have yet to meet anyone who had a fulfilling career or total absence of regret doing any of that.
