How do you get pay per view to work?

Will this get me by in Mountain View, CA?

  • First off, I want to work at Google as a software engineer. I've been programming since I was 9, and I've been programming since. I'm in 7th grade. I've read that software engineers in Mountain View generally make between 80,000 to 115,000 a year. I would like to live in a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom house. A nice house, at that. Not big, one story, but just "aesthetically pleasing". If money does not inflate terribly between now and about 2021 (when I get out of college), will 80,000 to 115,000 be enough to live in Mountain View with the ability to have nice things and not struggle to pay the rent?

  • Answer:

Even if you don't get a job at google you will be highly paid no matter what company you choose. Software engineers are in demand and forecasted to be on the top 3 degrees for most demand in the next 20 years. And, you never know - google may not even exist then.
