How can i close out my account?

How can I close my Chase saving account, online?

  • I have this Chase saving account for more than 6 months now, I wonder if anybody knows, if I can close my account online? or, should I go to the same branch which I opened that account, or can do that, from anywhere?

    I don't think Chase charges to close accounts. Is there any money in the account? If you phone them they can close the account and send you a check for any balance left. For service on existing accounts: 1-800-935-9935 Good luck!

I don't believe you can close it online, but you can probably close it in person at a branch, or by calling chase. But if you do close it, it may have a charge fee or something and you might have to leave a minimum balance on the account to close it or something of the sort.
