How do rich people become rich?

  • I would prefer rich people to answer this question but if you think you know how to become rich let me know. I'm tired of being poor and struggling in life. I want to be rich like those people on T.V.

    Well I know some rich folk. The answer is sometimes just luck. For many it is hard work and intelligent judgement, seeing opportunities and wasting no time in going after them. The key is to create a system that attracts money - more money than it takes to keep the system going. Usually this is a business, it could be a cult religion... as long as other people can keep the system running and it still makes a profit you will be getting rich. It might take time, but this is the only real rule. It does normally require a system, it will need other people to help you, and it will need brains. You shoudl read the biographies of rich people, study their attitiudes and habits. The richest people in the world are rarely on TV, do you know what these people look like or sound like?: Warren Buffett Mukesh Ambani Stefan Persson They are all billionaires. Don't try to be like some pop star or movie star - in terms of being rich, those guys are not so rich, they just put on a good show. In any case, I know seversal millionaires and their money hasn't made them happy. The people that are happy do simple things like love and allow others to love them, are listeners, take their time with people, etc. Happiness is not all about money.

Never, ever make a loan for anything unless its a home with 20% down. By making loans, you are just making banks rich, and you poor. You never get out of the hole - you become a slave to the banks......

If you have to ask, it's probably not going to happen to you. I don't know at what stage in life you are, but if you're young, start by getting a good education IN A FIELD WHICH PAYS WELL. Forget about the humanities or social studies. Thinks about medicine, engineering, finance, science, etc. Get your degree and seek out a well paying job, or if you have an idea and the gumption, start your own business, that's how most people become rich. Whether you have your ow business or work for someone else, become the best you can be. Become indispensable in the job you do or the service or product you provide. All the while live within your means. Spend less than you earn. Invest the rest wisely, as much as you can in tax advantaged accounts. This strategy may not make you as rich as the people you see on TV, but you should find yourself pretty well off. Good luck.

-Spend less than you make. There is nothing wrong with being cheap. -Max out your 401 K at work -Get a good education (Go to college or tech school) -Buy a Roth IRA every year. Max out. -Develop a talent or skill that no one else has. -Consider starting your own business. -Never give up in life, If you fail in a business keep trying. -Marry someone that is rich or at least good with money. -Invest at least 20 % of your income.

By being CHEAP. That is the reason why they are rich because they are CHEAP. I know this because I am CHEAP myself and I'm on my way to being RICH.

I am a financial advisor to rich people, including one billionaire. I would agree with all the comments. But here is the missing link: Work! Work! Work! One of my clients who is worth $15 million still drives a delivery truck for his wife's antique business when the regular driver is sick. My billionaire works 7 days a week, and rarely sees his family. You cannot have "balance" and get rich. But if you are willing to be "unbalanced" in your pursuit of money, you will indeed get there.
